The news we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. West Virginia Mountaineers forward Esa Ahmad has been cleared by the NCAA, after serving a half-season suspension, and will rejoin the team on January 13th when the Mountaineers take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Lubbock.

The Cleveland, Ohio native started in 32 games for the Mountaineers during the 2016-17 season, and averaged 11.3 points per game on 48% shooting.
