The Mountaineers are 1-3 in the Big 12/SEC Challenge and will certainly be up against a tough competitor when Kentucky comes to town. As it stands, WVU is 15-3 on the season and UK is 14-3.
An underlying story to this game will the meeting of legendary coaches and close friends, Bob Huggins and John Calipari. Huggins is the third-winningest coach among active NCAA men’s basketball coaches while John Calipari, who is from Moon, Pennsylvania, has more than 250 wins and an .824 win percentage.
Both teams have been ranked in the top 25 throughout the season and this will certainly be the showcase of the 2018 Big 12/SEC Challenge.
