In their first meeting since 2012, the West Virginia and Pitt men’s basketball teams will tip off at 8 p.m. on ESPN2. The Saturday primetime matchup will be the first of a four-year series between the traditional rivals.

The Mountaineers will open the season against Texas A&M in the Armed Forces Classic, in Ramstein, Germany, at 6 p.m. The team will spend Thanksgiving in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, for the Advocare Invitational.
Bob Huggins and company will welcome two big-name neighbors to the WVU Coliseum this season. Virginia comes to town on Tuesday, December 5, at 7 p.m., on ESPNU and Kentucky visits Morgantown on Saturday, January 27 as part of the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. WVU learned its 2017-2018 Big 12 schedule earlier this month.
