The West Virginia Mountaineers just picked up their second commitment of the night, this one coming from the country’s No. 2 ranked kicker and punter, Kolton McGhee. McGhee is currently on campus for West Virginia’s Showtime Elite camp, which is currently underway, but took the time to announce his decision on Twitter.

McGhee participated in the Kornblue Kicking Camp on West Virginia’s campus last month, placing first in the field goal kicking competition and second in the punting contest, and wowed Mountaineer assistant coach Mark Scott, earning him an invite to this evening’s special one-day camp.
The Altoona, Pennsylvania native is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports, and the top-ranked kicker in the 2019 recruiting class. Kolton chose West Virginia, who were the first program to offer a scholarship, over offers from Rutgers and Army and heavy interest from Penn State.
