West Virginia offered the 6’-3”, 185lb dual-threat signal caller a scholarship back in May and, after he visited Morgantown in June, made him their top target at the position. In addition to being a dual-threat quarterback, Lowe is also a dual-sport athlete. Lowe hoped to find a school that would allow him to play both football and baseball but, although he has chosen the Mountaineers, it’s unclear at this time if he’ll be allowed to participate in both sports at West Virginia.
Lowe is currently rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports, and chose the Mountaineers over Illinois, North Carolina, Houston, Southern Mississippi, Memphis and Arkansas State. He’ll be eligible to sign his National Letter of Intent with West Virginia this December, during the new early signing period.
