The Mountaineers will be in competition with the Alabama Crimson Tide, Ohio State Buckeyes, Florida Gators and the Virginia Tech Hokies for the Spring Valley High School standout.
Nester currently holds a four-star rating from 247Sports, and is the No. 2 recruit in the state of West Virginia. The Mountaineers were the first to offer the upcoming Junior tackle, doing so back in February 2016. 247Sports analysts have Nester as a Ohio State lean, but West Virginia is very much in the mix. Being a 2019 prospect, Nester will not be able to sign his National Letter of Intent until December 2018, during the new early signing period.
