We’re back at that point in the offseason where the season projections start to roll in from every college football analyst, causing every fan of every team’s blood to begin to boil. Media days are just around the corner. COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS IN THE AIR!

South Point Sports Book in Las Vegas has released their betting lines for the 2017 college football season, and they have the West Virginia Mountaineers sitting at 6 wins.

South Point’s six projected wins lines up with what we’re seeing trickle in from pretty much everyone. SB Nation’s Bill Connelly broke down the Mountaineers last month, and the S&P system he uses came out with West Virginia barely winning five games. Now, I’ll be arguing against those numbers in a separate article sometime in the near future, but I want to point out that the same formula had West Virginia only winning just under seven games last season. We all know how that turned out.

South Point also set the line for the rest of the Big 12 schools, and has Oklahoma leading the conference once again with 10 wins. Oklahoma State follows with 9, Baylor and TCU at 8, and Kansas State and Texas both come in ahead of West Virginia with 7.5 projected wins. Iowa State follows the Mountaineers with 5.5 wins, Texas Tech at 4.5 and Kansas limps in with 2.5 wins.
