The West Virginia Mountaineers traveled to Winston-Salem, North Carolina on late Wednesday to do something they hadn’t done in 21 years.

Prepare for NCAA Tournament competition.

Thursday began with a press conference just outside of David F. Coach Ballpark.

Following the presser, the Mountaineers took the field and had a walk thru and practice.

West Virginia will begin their Road to Omaha against Maryland on Friday at 2:00 PM ET. The game will be streamed on WatchESPN. The Terrapins beat the Mountaineers 7-6 in College Park on April 11.

As of Thursday evening, Coach Randy Mazey still has not named a starting pitcher.
