According to Keenan Cummings at Rivals, defensive line coach Bruce Tall spearheaded the recruiting effort for Williams.
“He is a great person and coach,” said Williams. “He breeds successful defensive lineman and he’s always made me feel comfortable with West Virginia. Excited to spend years with him and proud to say he’s my coach.”
Pickerington North still has one more season with Williams. Their season starts on Friday, August 26 at home against Clarkson Secondary.
WVU starts their season on Sunday, September 3 in the DC metro area against arch-rival Virginia Tech.
