OPENING THOUGHTS

It’s that time of year again.

GRADUATION!!...or commencement, whatever you want to call it.

Time for all of WVU’s outgoing seniors to grab their diplomas and celebrate all they’ve accomplished in four years.

All of the seniors and their families are ecstatic about this milestone and the opportunity to celebrate.

But all of the townies aren’t as excited about it. Mainly for this reason:

...and we also got rain and baseball.

So to all of you graduates...CONGRATULATIONS!! Your time here at West Virginia University will be an experience you will never forget. I hope all of you remember every Saturday afternoon, Coliseum court-storming, house party, and bar crawl on High Street with much fondness as you embark on the next few chapters of your life.

To all of you townies...

KEY TO THE SERIES

  • Maybe, not lose games we’re supposed to win. We lost to Penn State on Tuesday and we had a problem on our Facebook page with some awful people commenting about the game.

HOW AFRAID SHOULD WE BE? (SCALE 1-10)

One. I’m as afraid of Gardner-Webb as I am of Jay Leno.

PREDICTION THAT WILL HOPEFULLY BE RIGHT

The Mountaineers will win all of the games that will be played, so maybe one or two.

West Virginia sweeps Gardner-Webb 3-0
