Leddie Brown, an athletic running back out of Smyrna, Delaware just committed to the Mountaineers. Dana Holgorsen is showing he knows how to cpaitalize on a 10-win season and contract extension with this monster commitment.
Rated four-stars by Scout.com, Brown showcases a plethora of skills that will make him a fan favorite when he comes to Morgantown.
Standing 6’-1” and 190 pounds, he has the frame to add muscle but also the lean athletic body build which will allow him to evade defenders at all levels of the field.
Brown is rated the number 17 back in the nation and made his commitment to the Mountaineers official after competing in The Opening Regional held Sunday at New York Jets’ practice facility.
Brown and West Virginia have a history together. Brown attended the now defunct Eastern Christian Academy, which was the former home to stars Daikiel Shorts, David Sills and current Philadelphia Eagles runningback Wendell Smallwood. The Mountaineers’ coaches offered Leddie Brown very early in his football career and he has never forgotten that fact.
“I have a great relationship with West Virginia," Brown said. "Their whole coaching staff loves me. I really enjoy being around all the coaches and the players at West Virginia."
How big a commitment is Leddie Brown to #WVU? Mountaineers targeted him early, offered in eighth grade. Skill set is perfect match.
