32 NFL teams and one CFL team were represented at WVU’s Pro Day in Morgantown on Friday morning.
Those representatives saw former Mountaineer wide receiver Shelton Gibson improve his originally miscalculated NFL Combine 40-yard dash time down to 4.39”.
Here are his thoughts on the experience:
Gibson also jumped 10’1” in the broad jump.
According to Chad Reuter at NFL.com, he’s projected to go late in the fifth round (Atlanta Falcons).
Former Mountaineer CB Rasul Douglas, who is projected to go early in the fourth round (Carolina Panthers), also talked about how the difference a tenth of two tenths of a second can make in the 40 time.
Reuter also projected OL Tyler Orlosky to be taken late in the fourth round by the Los Angeles Rams.
This year’s NFL Draft will take place on April 27 (first round), April 28 (second and third rounds), and April 29 (fourth through seventh rounds). Both ESPN and NFL Network will have coverage.
