The West Virginia men’s basketball team is back in the top 10 of the both major college basketball polls. WVU is No. 10 in both the AP and Coaches polls this week, moving up two spots in the AP Poll and three in the Coaches Poll.

Two top-25 matchups are on tap this week for the Mountaineers (23-6, 11-5 Big 12). First, WVU travels to Waco, Texas, to take on the No. 11 Baylor Bears (23-6, 10-6 Big 12). The Bears find themselves outside the top 10 for the first time in 2017. In the regular season finale on Saturday, WVU will host the No. 24 Iowa State Cyclones (19-9, 10-6 Big 12), who are in the polls for the first time since December 5, 2016.

The Big 12 Conference has four teams in the top 25. Kansas is No. 1, as the Jayhawks (26-3, 14-2) have been awarded locked up the regular season conference crown for the 13th year in a row. They are on top again due to Gonazaga’s first loss of the season. Oklahoma State (20-9, 9-7) also received votes in both polls.
