West Virginia University has announced that the 2017 Annual Gold-Blue Spring Game will be held on April 15, 2017 at 1:00PM EST at Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown.

Tickets are available in now for $10 each and can be purchased online at WVUGAME.com or by calling 1-800-WVU GAME. West Virginia Univesity students will be admitted free with a valid ID. As in the past, proceeds from the Gold-Blue Spring Game will benefit WVU Medicine Children’s.

Television broadcast information has not been announced at this time, but the game will most likely be broadcast on one of West Virginia Media Holding’s stations throughout the state, as it has in the past. The game will also have the usual radio broadcast courtesy of WVU IMG Sports.

2017 will mark the return of the Gold-Blue Spring Game to Morgantown, after the game was played at The Greenbrier Sports Performance Center in White Sulphur Springs in 2016 due to new turf being installed at Mountaineer Field.

The Gold-Blue Spring Game may give Mountaineer fans their first look at Florida Gators transfer, and heir apparent to the quarterback throne, Will Grier. While Grier’s status is still uncertain, and likely won’t be definite until July 1st when the NCAA has said they would make their ruling on his case, the West Virginia coaching staff are confident that Grier will be available to start the 2017 season against Virginia Tech at FedEx Field in Washington, D.C.
