Throughout his time in Morgantown, Dana Holgorsen has built large fleets of wide receivers. Dominique Maiden joins that crew for the 2017 as an early enrollee. The wide receiver from Riverside City College (CA) chose West Virginia over UAB and Massachusetts on December 14.
Maiden looks to be a needed component to the passing game—a tall receiver. He stands at 6’5”, 210 pounds and received a three-star rating from the three major recruiting services. Maiden’s rating was in the top 10 of all junior college receivers for the 2017 signing class.
During Riverside City College’s 2016 season, Maiden totaled 480 yards and eight touchdowns. His longest reception of the year was a 61 yarder against El Camino. In 2015, he grabbed 35 receptions, for 398 yards and six TDs in 11 games. At Temecula Valley High School, Maiden was a dual-sport athlete in basketball and football.
Maiden is already on campus in Morgantown, and has two years of eligibility remaining.
