This is the second year in a row that Austin and Quinn have worked with a Los Angeles area nonprofit to help families transitioning from homelessness. The two Rams stars paid for new beds, a sofa, televisions, a dining room set, and everything else in the four-bedroom apartment. They also bought and wrapped Christmas presents for the children in the family.

Austin told a Los Angeles Times reporter his heart has always been with helping those in need, which I believe is a defining trait of a true Mountaineer.
“I always want to do something to help a person. You can’t help everybody in the world but at least you can get to one, and that’s where my heart has always been, so that’s what is to me. I just feel good they have a place to rest their head and call a place home.” - Tavon Austin
