Verbally Committed on July 30, 2017

Mays traveled to Morgantown for a one-day camp this past summer with his Bolivar Central H.S. teammate, and fellow Mountaineer signee, Trey Lowe, and ended up leaving with a scholarship offer in hand and a new leader in his recruitment. Mays brings a controlled mean streak to his game, and has great lateral movement for an offensive guard.

Mays committed to West Virginia over Georgia Tech.
