Kwantel Raines is a cousin of current West Virginia Mountaineers safety Dravon Askew-Henry. The West Virginia staff were the first Power 5 program to offer the Aliquippa native, and it paid off when Raines announced his intentions to become a Mountaineer just a few days after West Virginia’s loss to Oklahoma State. Raines chose West Virginia over Penn State and Pittsburgh.
