This game is going to be a lot like playing Iowa State and Kansas State in football. Typically, Bob Huggins teams average 75+ possessions a game. NJIT is going to try and play ball control and limit the Mountaineers chances.

Jevon Carter, the senior guard for Huggins’ squad enters the game two steals shy of the career mark set by Greg Jones. Jones had 251 steals in his time at WVU. Carter enters the game with 249 and averages 2.1 steals per game in his career. He had a career best 92 steals last year, 5 shy of the school record set by Damien Owens in 1997.

West Virginia 69, NJIT 55
