When, Where, and How To Watch
When: Friday, November 3, 2017, 6:00 PM ET
Where: FAU Stadium, Boca Raton, Florida
How to Watch: CBS Sports Network (Channel 221 on DirecTV and Channel 158 on Dish Network) or CBS Sports Network Online
Game Notes
- FAU is the official Group of 5 team of The Smoking Musket, due to the West Virginia University connections in the program. Former West Virginia quarterback Clint Trickett serves as tight ends coach under head coach Lane Kiffin, and former Mountaineer offensive lineman Garin Justice coaches the Owls’ offensive line.
- FAU sophomore RB Devin Singletary is No. 1 in the nation in rushing TDs and 9th in total yards rushing. The Owls have the 8th best rushing offense in the country coming into this game.
- Marshall is 0-12 against the West Virginia Mountaineers and, as far as I’m concerned, a loss to the Owls this evening is good enough to make it 0-13.
- VegasInsider.com lists FAU as a 6.5 point favorite over the Thundering Herd, with the over/under set at 64 points.
