The Mountaineers will debut in front of the Monongalia County Ballpark crowd the weekend of March 16-18, as Canisius comes to Morgantown. After a game against LaSalle on Tuesday, March 20, WVU heads to Norman, Oklahoma, for the first conference series.

Ten non-conference games are smattered within the conference season. WVU will host the Pitt Panthers in the Backyard Brawl on Tuesday, March 27. The Mountaineers travel to play Penn State in University Park, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, April 3. That weekend, WVU will fly out to play UNLV April 6-8, then come back to the Allegheny Mountains to play Penn State at PNC Park in Pittsburgh on Tuesday, April 10.

WVU will make the return trip to Pitt on Tuesday, April 17 and head south on I-79 for a game against in-state rival Marshall on Wednesday, April 25, at Appalachian Power Park in Charleston. The Mountaineers start May with a home game against Maryland on Tuesday, May 1 and will also host Virginia Tech on Wednesday, May 9. The final non-conference game of the season will be on Tuesday, May 15, as WVU hosts Marshall.

WVU’s regular season will end with a four-game homestand. After hosting Marshall, Baylor comes to Morgantown May 17-19, for the final series of 2018. The 2018 Big 12 Baseball Championship is scheduled for Wednesday, May 23-Sunday, May 27, from Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City.
