- Kansas State leads the all-time series 5-2. Before beating the Wildcats last season, West Virginia’s last win over K-State came in 1930.
- Kansas State has scored three defensive touchdowns this season, which places them at No. 6 in the country. While the Wildcats are in the top 10 in that one defensive stat, they ranked dead last in the Big 12 in total defense and pass defense.
- VegasInsider.com lists West Virginia as a 1 point favorite over the Wildcats, with the over/under set at 60.5 points. That line opened this week with Kansas State as a 2.5 point favorite over the Mountaineers.
