- The series between the Mountaineers and the Cowboys is knotted up, with each team winning 4 games. West Virginia last beat Oklahoma State in 2014, but currently holds a 2-1 record against the Pokes when playing at home.
- While Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph leads the country in passing yards, it’s Mountaineer quarterback Will Grier that leads in passing touchdowns. Grier has 26 passing touchdowns to Rudolph’s 19. Both quarterbacks are completing 66% of their passes this season.
- VegasInsider.com lists Oklahoma State as a 7.5 point favorite over the Mountaineers, with the over/under set at 72.5 points.
