A pretty easy guess for uniform combinations. West Virginia has worn this combination every year. The first year that “True Blue” was announced was way back in 2014 when the Mountaineers, sporting a shiny new 6-2 record after defeating Okie State 34-10 in Stillwater, hosted the TCU Horned Frogs with ESPN College Gameday in tow.

It wasn’t the first time the Mountaineers wore their all-blues, but it was the first time it was treated as a “Name Game”.

This will be the first time that the ‘Eers have not worn some version of yellow against the Cowboys. In 2013, the team wore their all-gold uniforms. It’s a look no one wants to see again.

In 2014, the team debuted their “Applachian Tigers” uniforms against the Cowpokes, providing one of the best defensive performances given the circumstances and showing off the best one-off uniform combination.

2015 was the traditional stripe uniform combination of blue-gold-blue while last year the team wore the traditional road uniform combination of blue helmets, white jerseys and yellow pants.
