The one-time SEC commit has been a West Virginia lean for a while, but finally made it official today.

The West Virginia Mountaineers have a little bit of a commitment streak going, after a second big time recruit committed to the program. Blaine Scott, an offensive lineman from Portsmouth, OH, announced his commitment to the Mountaineers this evening on Twitter. Scott has been a West Virginia lean since he decommitted from Ole Miss back in the summer, but finally pulled the trigger and made it official today.

This is a power player extraordinaire, and one who plays to the whistle every single play. While not the quickest or more athletic offensive lineman, Scott plays the game hard and is a smart football player. Will need work on pass protection and overall explosion, but the effort is what college football coaches look for in a lineman.
