Mike Harley has been at it all week, making defensive backs look foolish with quick cuts, smooth routes and speed. Saturday he will put all of that on display in the 2017 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. The game will be played this Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 12:00 PM EST in the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The game will be broadcast by NBC.
Harley will wear #5 and play for the East squad. USA Today reporter Cam Smith caught up with Mike and he had this to say.
I’m trying to go in and make a statement, have fun and represent my high school, family and friends. I want to have a good time playing against the top-ranked players in the nation before moving on to the next level.
Coming in as a true freshman, I’m hoping to compete to fight my way in to start at West Virginia. They throw the ball a lot, 70 percent of the time, so that’s perfect for me and the receivers. - Mike Harley on the US Army All-American Bowl
Mike Harley steady breaking anklesWest Virginia receiver recruit Mike Harley is just too quick for opposing defensive backs. Good luck, Big Twelve. The U.S. Army All-American Bowl is Saturday at Noon on NBC.

Harley is just rated a 3-star by most recruiting services but with moves like this, it won’t take long for opposing defensive coordinators to know his name. Mike saved his best performance for his last high school game, catching 5 passes for 133 yards and 3 touchdowns in his high school championship game.
