The West Virginia coaching staff was actually late to the party on Roberson's recruitment, and didn't offer him a scholarship until just two weeks ago. Roberson visited Morgantown this past weekend for his last official visit, and was impressed with everything he saw, which sealed the deal for the Mountaineers.

Roberson has drawn comparisons to recently graduated wide receiver Daikiel Shorts, and may see action in a similar role in his time in Morgantown.
