On Tuesday night, the 24th-ranked WVU men’s soccer team (5-1-1) handled the American University (3-2-3) just like they handle every team. The Mountaineers steam rolled the Eagles 3-0. For the sixth consecutive game, WVU didn’t allow any goals and continued their recent dominance on offense. The last of the three Mountaineer goals came in the 54th minute. Junior midfielder Jad Arslan got the ball back into the penalty box and kicked it to senior midfielder Griffin Libhart who back-heeled it in to the goal.
What?? Griffin Libhart's first career goal is AMAZING and a certain #SCTop10 nominee!!
