Culver, a 6'9 forward from Warren, OH, has long been coveted by Huggins and his staff. Although West Virginia has been considered the favorites for a while, he also holds offers from the likes of Arizona, Indiana, and Kansas.
Culver is a 4 star prospect by Scout, 247, and ESPN. Scout has ranked Culver as the 40th best prospect in the class of 2017, and ESPN has him at 78.
A commitment by Culver would be huge for the Mountaineers and would be a great addition to a class that already includes South Charleston (WV) point guard Brandon Knapper.
