Christian Brown is an unsung hero of the West Virginia defense. Christian has seen quality playing time since his true freshman season, and is a workhorse along the defensive line. Brown was used on 571 defensive plays, 638 plays overall, in 2015, and had a season-high four solo tackles against Kansas State.

2016 Outlook

Christian Brown returns for his senior season as a Mountaineer and, along with Noble Nwachuwku, will provide leadership and game experience to the front six of the West Virginia defense. Christian is going to be key for the Mountaineers in Big 12 play and, although his stats may tell a different story, Brown's impact on the defensive line will be huge. Brown will continue to be a workhorse for Tony Gibson's squad, and will find himself playing on Sundays in 2017.
