West Virginia Mountaineers Far From Worried About Preseason Snub

One day after WVU had both an offensive lineman and a defensive lineman make the preseason team after failing to have one or the other do so the previous four years, the Mountaineers on Thursday found themselves in seventh place in the preseason poll. But WVU is far from worried.

West Virginia University senior quarterback Skyler Howard was one of 30 quarterbacks from across the nation to be named to the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award Watch List, as announced by the Davey O'Brien Foundation.

The end of the Big 12 season is in sight in Week 13 of ESPN's Big 12 season predictions, with Texas hosting TCU, Baylor at Texas Tech, West Virginia at Iowa State and Kansas State-KU.
