Former WVU basketball standout Joe Alexander has agreed to a deal to return to Israel and play for Maccabi Tel Aviv, according to international basketball reporter David Pick.
Ex-Bucks draftee Joe Alexander, I'm told, agreed to re-sign with his former club Maccabi and will obtain Israeli credentials.

Maccabi Tel Aviv participates in the Israeli Premier league and also the Euroleague, the top league in the world outside of the NBA.
Alexander returns to Maccabi after spending last season in Italy with Dinamo Sissari. He has not played in the NBA since the 2009-10 season, when he played eight games for the Chicago Bulls.
Alexander spent three seasons with the Mountaineers, averaging 12.1 points for his career. He jumped onto the national scene after a fantastic junior season, where he scored 16.9 points per game and led West Virginia to an upset of Duke in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
