Football:
West Virginia held its first two elite camps of the summer this over weekend, with a pair of one-day events on both Saturday and Sunday. There were roughly 150 prospects between the two days, including a handful of elite prospects from all over the country during each camp.
Basketball:
A very humbled, soft-spoken and reflective Jerry West was in Morgantown on Monday morning to take part in the dedication ceremony for the new Jerry West Collection, now residing in the West Virginia & Regional History Center, which is located on the sixth floor of the Wise Library.
West Virginia Athletics:
Rising West Virginia University seniors Kadeisha Buchanan and Ashley Lawrence were nominated today to represent Canada in women's soccer at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympic Games from Aug. 5-21. The duo, two of 18 named to the nomination list, are the first Mountaineer women's soccer student-athletes named to an Olympic roster.

Around The Big XII:
Oklahoma State is one game away from the College World Series championship after shutting out Arizona on Monday night. TCU defeated Texas Tech on Sunday night, and now the Red Raiders have to fight for their lives against the Florida Gators today.
Around The NCAA:
Alabama left tackle Cam Robinson and defensive back Hootie Jones won't face prosecution after their arrests in Louisiana in May on weapon and drug charges.
Florida State is again one of the nation's most consistent programs, but QB questions and a brutal, exciting schedule will dictate whether the Seminoles can make their second Playoff trip in three years.
