Around The League

Around The Big XII:

Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby wants conference leaders to make decisions one way or the other on the lingering topics of expansion, a football championship game and a league network by the end of the summer. Referencing "a couple hundred pages of fairly dense data," Bowlsby says conference expansion will sit atop the summer reading list of Big 12 decision-makers. Ken Starr sat down for an exclusive interview with Outside the Lines. ESPN Reporter Paula Lavigne, Deadspin writer Diana Moskovitz and a former Baylor student who says she was raped by a football player react to the Ken Starr interview.

The long tradition of ABC televising the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners in the Red River Showdown will end this year, as the game will air on FS1 in 2016. There is not yet a kickoff time set for the game, but the two teams traditionally face off in the 12PM slot.
