The first two football games of the 2016 season finally have official game times. The Missouri Tigers will face the West Virginia Mountaineers on Saturday, September 3rd at Milan Puskar Stadium at 12:00 PM on FS1 in the season opener.
The Mountaineers will then face the Youngstown State Penguins on September 10 at Milan Puskar Stadium. The game will be televised at 2 p.m., ET. The broadcast partner will be announced at a later time.

The season opening game against Missouri will mark the sixth time the Mountaineers have played the Tigers. The Tigers currently own a 3-2 advantage. The last game of the series was played in 1998 at the Insight.com Bowl in Tucson, Ariz., a 34-31 Tiger win.
WVU and Missouri started playing in a home-and-home series in 1926-27, with the first game in Morgantown, a 27-0 Tiger win, and the second in Columbia, a 13-0 Missouri win. The series picked up in 1993-94 with the West Virginia tying the series, winning both ends, 35-3 in Morgantown in 1993, and 34-10, in Columbia, in 1994.
