Wallace Corker (Stockbridge, GA)
Taking in all the blessings ! I just received an offer from West Virginia ! #HailWVU pic.twitter.com/kBjqZ4EqdD
— ⚡️Wallace Corker‼️ (@24wallace24) May 23, 2016
A tall lanky receiver, Wallace Corker offers West Virginia size (6'-2", 175) at the receiver position. Receiver isn't a dire need for the Mountaineers as there are seven scholarship players on the roster for 2017. Skill position players are always a need in recruiting and are the flashy players that fans crave and highlight tapes were made for. Corker shows good hands when catching the ball, wanting to catch the ball outside of his body rather than trapping it against his pads. He also shows a willingness to block in the run game, which can bode well for freshmen vying for playing time. When WVU offered Corker, he did not have many Power 5 offers but since then he has seen offers from South Carolina and Notre Dame.

Defensive line is one of the positions the coaches are targeting hard in this recruiting cycle. Outside of Xavier Pegues and D.J. Carozza there is a shortage of upper classmen along the defensive line. The coaching staff has targeted defensive linemen the last couple of recruiting cycles but don't be surprised if they try and garner a couple of JUCO transfers this year. Lee Autry is a big, physical (6'-3", 310) defensive tackle who has verbally committed to Mississippi State. He is being recruited by Co-Offensive Coordinator Joe Wickline and Defensive Line coach Bruce Tall. He also has offers from Tennessee, Louisville and Kentucky. Autry is the #6 ranked JUCO prospect according to 247.
Eric Stokes Jr (Covington, GA)
Blessed to have received a(n) offer from West virginia University #HailWV #WVU pic.twitter.com/NhICfE2ezB
— Eric Stokes Jr (@_jamane_) May 24, 2016
Eric Stokes is a 3-star athlete out of Eastside High School in Covington, Georgia. Stokes has tremendous speed. He runs track for Eastside High where he posted 10.40 second 100m in the GSHA Boys 4A State Championships. His speed allowed him to win both the 100m and 200m races, along with the 4x100m relay.
As a running back, Stokes shows his tremendous speed on swing plays, jet sweeps and off-tackle runs. Eric has a host of Power 5 offers including LSU, Ole Miss, and his home state Georgia.
Seth Stewart (Point Pleasant, WV)
Blessed and honored to recieve an offer from West Virginia University! pic.twitter.com/PPVRX8tFS1
— Seth Orlando Stewart (@Atallwhiteboy) May 27, 2016
An in-state prospect, Seth Stewart is a 3-star prospect out of Point Pleasant, WV. He is the 8th ranked prospect in West Virginia, but currently stands as a hard commit to Marshall. At 6'-8" and 320 pounds, Stewart provides good size along the offensive line. He currently holds offer from Pitt and Louisville as well.
Tate Martell, Dual-Threat Quarterback (Las Vegas, NV)
Last week, Tate Martell de-committed from Texas A&M after visiting Ohio State. His de-committment set off a firestorm on Twitter as an A&M coach took to Twitter to sub-tweet his frustration. WVU did the smart thing and offered Martell a scholarship. Yesterday, Martell listed his top 7 schools and WVU made the cut.
