Louisiana Tech transfer Merrill Holden told @CBSSports his new list is Iowa St , Illinois, Cincinnati, Jacksonville St, WVU, and UCF.

Lousiana Tech forward Merrill Holden is taking his talents elsewhere. After graduating from Louisiana Tech, Holden is looking for the next place he will call home. According to Jon Rothstein, West Virginia and Big 12 rival Iowa State are among his final six choices. Holden is a 6'-8" forward who averaged 8.1 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game last year while shooting 51.6% from the field (71.4% FT).
The loss of Devin Williams could prompt Holden to choose WVU as Bob Huggins has shown an ability to get the most out of his bigs, especially those willing to do the dirty work of rebounding and blocking. Holden doesn't represent the most desired piece for WVU, that of a shooter/score but he could be a valuable addition on the bench. #PressVirginia is always in need of bodies.
You can find Holden's career stats here.
It should be noted that WVU is currently at its maximum scholarship limit. Unless Holden plans to walk-on to WVU or another player transfers, Holden will not be on scholarship at WVU.
