While our own Abpriddy is taking a break from the Mountaineer Retweet, let's take a look around Twitter and see what is up with our Mountaineers.

On Senior Night, senior walk on Richard Romeo got in and drained a jump shot to finish 1-1 from the field. If anyone has ever wondered how much Bob Huggins means to his players, take a look at that picture. It reminds you of the Butler-Huggins embrace in the Final Four. Good for you Romeo on Senior Night!

Mr. Miyagi

Bria Holmes scored 22 of her season-high 30 points in the second half against TCU, as WVU came back from a 13-point third quarter deficit to topple the Horned Frogs, 83-72. Holmes made 11-of-22 from the field, dished out four assists, blocked three shots and collected two steals in the victory.

On Senior Night against the Cowgirls, the guard celebrated with a game-high 27 points. She made 10-of-18 from the field and connected on 4-of-7 from behind the arc. Holmes dished out three assists and collected two steals in the win. Then her boyfriend got down on one knee and proposed to Bria.

With her 27 points against Oklahoma State, Holmes became the first Mountaineer women’s basketball player to reach 500 or more points in three consecutive seasons. She leads WVU and ranks second in the Big 12 with 17.0 points per game. Holmes is the Big 12’s active career scoring leader with 1,923 points.

Take a bow Bria, take a bow.

Sunday was the Once a Mountaineer, Always a Mountaineer Day of Play. Quarterback Skyler Howard joined in on the fun with the kids.

In case you missed it, WVU baseball got off to a hot start, rattling off 5 straight wins after a season opening loss. The team even took on the Arizona Diamondbacks. The team overall is 7-4 and KC Huth earned Player of the Week honors. But a highlight has to be freshman Jimmy Galusky with his first career homerun against UNLV.

Speaking of freshman, Esa Ahmad has really come into his own lately. His has owned some of the most ferocious dunks on the season and after hitting a freshman wall, is turning it on as the Mountaineers enter the Big 12 Tournament.

WHOA

In case you missed it, former Mountaineer Bruce Irvin is slated to hit free agency in the NFL. While he's been loved by Mountaineer fans, NFL fans can be different fans, but Bruce has won over even some of the most diehard Seattle fans.

And we'll finish this off with a feel good tribute of Devin Williams and his teammate Nick Wince. Nick is holding his favorite player, Mr. Goggles.
