Six former West Virginia University players have been invited to the NFL Scouting Combine: RB Wendell Smallwood, S Karl Joseph, S KJ Dillon, P Nick O'Toole, CB Daryl Worley and ILB Nick Kwiatkoski. Friday saw Wendell Smallwood get his chance to shine showing off his speed with an official 40-yard dash time of 4.48, ranking 5th among running backs. Wendell also showed off tremendous agility skills, have the top times in both the 3-cone drill and the 60-yard shuffle.
Here are Wendell's official times and numbers per NFL.com:
40 Yard Dash - 4.47 seconds (5th among running backs)
Bench Press - 14 reps at 225 pounds (No ranking)
Vertical Jump - 33.5 inches (14th among running backs)
Broad Jump - 10'-0" (10th among running backs)
Three-Cone Drill - 6.83 second (1st among running backs)
20-Yard Shuffle - 4.28 seconds(7th among running backs)
60-Yard Shuffle - 11.14 Shuffle (1st among running backs)
