I said it earlier in the weekend and I’m saying it again now.
These women have done so much for the soccer program and for the university this season. If they can pull off this win and bring a title back to Morgantown, it would be a cherry on top of what has already been a fantastic weekend in WVU athletics.
The Mountaineers got to the final by dominating perennial powerhouse North Carolina defense. West Virginia kept the Tar Heels from getting a single shot-on-goal in the 1-0 victory.
All I have to say is "one more match."

KEY TO THE GAME
- JUST WIN, BABY!!!!
HOW AFRAID SHOULD WE BE (ON A SCALE OF 1-10)?
Eight. USC is a solid soccer program and they beat the only team that beat WVU (Georgetown) in the other quarterfinal. That’s a enough to be afraid of them, but I think UNC was a bigger hurdle. I’m as afraid of USC as I am annoyed of the Kardashians.
PREDICTION THAT WILL BE WRONG
Win or lose, this has been an amazing thing to watch over the fall semester in Morgantown. These women have played incredible soccer this season and have brought a lot of enthusiasm for soccer to campus. With Kadeisha Buchanan anchoring the defense, I see the Mountaineers coming home with some hardware.
