Details are beginning to come out about Dana Holgorsen’s contract extension with West Virginia. According to Pete Thamel, Sports Illustrated senior writer, Holgorsen has agreed to a 5-year extension worth $18.6 million, with the contract topping out at $4 million in the final year.
No word yet on incentives or buyout, but we will continue to update this article with information as it is released.

An official announcement from the school should be expected shortly. Holgorsen's previous contract was set to expire following the 2017 season. The five-year extension will carry him to his 11th season as the Mountaineer head coach.
