Mountaineers Back In Top 10 of Coaches Poll

Following the 48-21 beating of lowly Kansas, the Mountaineers find themselves back at number 10 in the Coaches Poll.

The Mountaineers find themselves back in the Top 10 of the USA Today Coaches Poll following their 48-21 defeat of the Kansas Jayhawks. Despite only one loss, to number 17 Oklahoma State, West Virginia finds itself behind four teams with two losses, and sandwiched between another two teams with 2 losses. West Virginia is the lowest ranked one-loss team. Oklahoma remains the highest ranked Big 12 team with a showdown with West Virginia in Morgantown looming in two weeks.
