WVU Women's Basketball Wins First Game in Savannah Invitational, Beats NC A&T 80-64

+

In its first game in the 2016 Savannah Invitational, the WVU women's basketball team handled North Carolina A&T 80-64 at the Savannah Civic Center in Savannah, Georgia. Tynice Martine, an Atlanta, Georgia, native, poured in 28 points, shooting 60 percent from the field and 100 percent at the foul line. That effort certainly attributed to the Mountaineers' win, but Aliyah Kilpatrick also scored 17 points. The Mountaineers return to action against East Carolina in their second game of the Savannah Invitational today at 4:30 p.m.
