The Mountaineers are off to a 3-0 start, but standing before them today is their toughest opposition yet. The Wildcats of Kansas State, coached by renowned wizard Bill Snyder, make their way to Milan Puskar Stadium today looking to derail West Virginia's season early.
It's no secret that the Wildcats are one of the two teams in the Big 12 that the Mountaineers have yet to beat since joining the Big 12 Conference, but this should be the season to do it. Kansas State is untested. An unknown. They enter with a 2-1 record with their loss coming at the hands of the Stanford Cardinal in the season opener.
The Mountaineers have struggled with special teams, which happens to be the strong point of every Bill Snyder coached team in the history of the world. This one could go either way, and will probably get silly fairly quick.
