Wendell Smallwood, according to a tweet from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, will be heading to the NFL. Smallwood led the Big 12 with 1519 rushing yards. Smallwood averaged 6.5 YPC and had 9 touchdowns in 2015.

This is without question a big hit to a West Virginia offense that was looking to return basically all of its production next season. However, Smallwood's stock is at an all time high, and in today's game, it's very smart for a talented running back to maximize his potential.
