Lackawanna C.C. Trevon Wesco has signed with the West Virginia Mountaineers. The 3-star JUCO tight end is 6'-5" , 260-pound West Virginia native who also held offers from Buffalo, Monmouth, and Central Florida. Other programs such as Pitt, Penn State, and Arizona expressed interest in Wesco. Wesco is the nation's seventh ranked junior college tight end.

Wesco is projected to be more of a receiving threat than previous Mountaineer tight ends under Dana Holgorsen. Wesco's athletic ability should be noted as he was a Class AAA All State basketball player at Musselman High School in West Virginia. Wesco suffered from a MCL injury this past season, but believes he is back to being 100%, and ready to contribute in 2016. With Cody Clay graduating Wesco could figure big in the 2016 season, but he will need to make sure his blocking skills are on point, something he readily admitted he needed to put in work on. Wesco's highlights can be seen below.
