National Signing Day 2016: Logan Thimons Is Officially A Mountaineer

The number one rated inside linebacker in Pennsylvania enrolled early at WVU and has now signed his official Letter of Intent to join the 2016 recruiting class.

Freeport Area Senior High School's Logan Thimons was one of nine greenshirts (early enrollees) for WVU during the 2016 recruiting class. Logan has been a highly productive linebacker in high school, totaling over 400 tackles during his career. West Virginia coaches were able to identify the talented Thimons early during his junior year, securing his commitment over a year ago and then keeping him committed all the way through the early enrollment period.

Logan Thimons size reminds you a lot of former linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski and his production in high school certainly matches the highly productive Kwiatkoski. Mountaineer fans will quickly be drawn to the Pennsylvania native, rated the number one inside linebacker in Pennsylvania, as Thimons has had nothing but glowing reviews of West Virginia, stating it was his number one school and a dream to play for the Mountaineers.

A consensus three-star recruit, Thimons is rated the #12 inside linebacker nationally and the #28 player in Pennsylvania.
