National Signing Day 2016: Jacquez Adams To Join Twin Brother At West Virginia

After initially signing with the 2015 recruiting class, CB Jacquez Adams took a semester to get his grades in line and is part of the 2016 class.

Originally a part of the 2015 Recruiting Class, dual-threat quarterback Jacquez Adams will re-join his brother Jordan with the Mountaineers. Jacquez was unable to get his grades eligible in 2015, so he headed to Milton Academy in New York where he caught 6 passes for 189 yards, ran for another 51 and threw for a touchdown. The consensus three-star prospect was rated the #6 prep recruit.

An all-around athlete, Jacquez led his high school team to a 13-1 record and a Maryland Class 3A Championship his senior year. Jacquez threw for over 4800 yards and 51 touchdowns in his high school career while adding another 1900 yards and 27 touchdowns on the ground.

Jacquez attended the same high school as another Mountaineer recruit, Steven Smothers. Franklin High School in Reistertown, Maryland is quickly becoming another pipeline for the West Virginia Mountaineers. Check out Jacquez's senior highlights in the Hudl video below.
