Linebacker Adam Hensley is now officially a West Virginia Mountaineer after choosing to attend the university over his 9 other scholarship offers. Hensley committed to the Mountaineers back in late June 2015 before his senior season. Hensley has not strayed away from his commitment and is passionate about his new home in Morgantown, West Virginia.
The Centerville, Ohio product joins former Mountaineer defensive tackle Kyle Rose in a list of players who have joined forces with the Mountaineers out of Centerville High School. On film Hensley shows a good nose for the football and can help blow up a play in the back field or disrupt the passing game. Hensley can grow to be a problem in Morgantown with some work. The areas of concern are the pad level in tackling, and explosion. While being a sure tackler is great, there will be seasoned Big-12 skilled players capable of breaking those tackles. Over all Hensley was a quality pick-up for a Mountaineer linebacker group who will need to replace all three starters.
