The Oakland Raiders have selected Mountaineers safety Karl Joseph in the 2016 NFL Draft. KJ becomes the first Mountaineer player selected in the 2016 NFL Draft. Despite suffering a season ending knee injury after the Oklahoma game, Karl remained one of the top safeties in the draft.

Karl joins another Mountaineer great Bruce Irvin in the Silver and Black. Bruce seems pleased with the selection as well.
